Pictures from Spring Break 2026
Hello!
I return to the blog about 2 weeks later than I should be. I will be serving my (nonexistent???) readers with some more low-vocabulary slop.
As an attempt to half-ass my new year’s resolution of writing a blog post every month - I will be uploading pictures from my trip to New England and NYC with some blurbs. Why? Because it is easier than writing something interesting.
Boston

This is by the state street stop on the red line - pretty much the heart of downtown Boston. There are a lot of eateries, shops, etc. and It is SUPER lively during the day. Stay clear of Luke’s Lobster though. Really underwhelming.

In the same general location, this is where the original revolutionaries met up to protest taxation imposed by the Brits.

I really like the framing on this shot. I usually don’t do any focus based framing, so this is one of the few shots of this style that I’ve taken and I like.

This is another angle of the State Capitol, across from the Boston commons, the oldest park in the United states.

These are some shots of the Boston City Center. I ABSOLUTELY love how these turned out. I am definitely going to be on the lookout for more geometric patterns in brightly lit environments.

A random fire escape in back bay. I would love to live in such a neighborhood xD.
NYC

DUMBO shot. I was hoping it would be sunnier so this picture would turn out a little nicer.

Brooklyn Bridge. It took me longer than I would have liked to get the leading lines to line up.

I wish I had a telephoto lens for this shot. It looks good but I would have LOVED to get a shot with someone walking through the pillars. I didn’t feel comfortable getting any closer and taking pictures on account of all the security outside the courthouse.

Again, I was wishing I had a telephoto the entire time I was in Chinatown.
